Founded by Scots-Irish pioneers in the 1720s, the Paxton Presbyterian Church is the oldest standing Presbyterian Church building in Pennsylvania. The stone building, built in 1740, is now over 270 years old. Its rich history has influenced the church in both profound and subtle ways.
